Gonzalez Byass have organised a wine study tour, inviting a group of students out to visit them in Jerez. People studying WSET wine courses are eligible – this is an outstanding opportunity to learn more about sherry.
Travel between the vineyard and the bodega, two lunches and a dinner are generously covered by Gonzalez Byass. However students are responsible for booking their own flights, transfers and hotels. Gonzalez Byass are happy to help with arranging hotel bookings, an option most students have selected in previous years.
Date of study tour: 10th February 2015
Costs: There is no charge for the tour, but flights, airport transfers and hotels are not included.
For more details and instructions on how to apply for a place, click on the itinerary and booking form. Apparently this tour is exceptionally popular, and with space for just 20 students it fills up fast, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Having visited Jerez some years ago on an amazing Sherry Educator programme, I would absolutely recommend a visit to this remarkable region. I don’t have any influence or involvement with this programme – any correspondence should be directly with Gonzalez-Byass!
