The IWC is now accepting international applications for bursaries for WSET Level 3 Award in Wine & Spirits and the WSET Diploma.
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust, or WSET is the world’s largest provider of vocational wine training, with over 56,000 students sitting WSET wine exams last year, in 62 countries around the world. It truly is a global wine qualification.
The WSET Level 3 Award in Wine & Spirits is offered in Ireland through Premier Wine Training. There are two wine courses per year scheduled, one in January, and another in September. The cost is €715. Full details are available on at Premier Wine Training.
WSET Diploma in Ireland is run by WSET directly, with their 2014 course starting early November 2014 in the Guinness Storehouse (deadline is 7.10.14). Contact WSET directly for details.
These scholarships show the IWC’s commitment to furthering the wine education in the trade, and are intended for financially disadvantaged students.
