The McGuigan City Vineyard will bring a taste of the Australian winelands to Dublin as they create a city centre vineyard in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, complete with 70 year old Australian vines.
During the event, and in partnership with WSET, McGuigan will be running two-hour masterclasses, exclusively for WSET students. Each masterclass will offer an insight into the current state of the Australian wine industry, a discussion on pruning to be held among the vines and a wine tasting of McGuigan wines.
This is a terrific opportunity for WSET students and will no doubt appeal to those students planning to study on the new WSET Diploma programme starting in Dublin in October.
The City Vineyard event runs from Wednesday 5th – Saturday 8th September 2012, with one masterclass to be held on both Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th.
