WSET have announced that the new WSET Level 4 Diploma course in Ireland commences on 29th October at The Arthur Guinness Business Centre, The Guinness Storehouse, St. James’s Gate, Dublin 8. The classroom-based course is open to new students who already hold the WSET Level 3 qualification.
WSET will be supporting this course using members of their UK education team, but their long-term vision is to work with Irish educators and key people in the Irish drinks industry to support the tuition of the Diploma Programme in Ireland.
Announcing the news, Chief Executive of the WSET, Ian Harris, WSET commented; ‘It is important for students in Ireland to have the opportunity to continue their studies at Diploma level, allowing them to fulfil their full potential and to continue to provide the Irish wine industry with highly-qualified staff.’
WSET are committed to promoting wine courses in Ireland and the new Diploma programme will allow students to continue their pursuit of top class recognised wine qualifications. WSET wine courses leading up to Diploma are offered by Premier Wine Training, and are a valuable stepping stone for anyone wanting to work within the Drinks Industry as well as those who are passionate about wine and spirits.
